is caused by poor hygiene. Many people took this to
heart and began to wash their skin vigorously and
frequently and as an end result people's Acne became
worse. While excess oils, dead skin and dirt on the
surface of your skin may not look pleasant they should
not be removed by rough scrubbing of your face. The
most effective approach to acne is gently washing the
skin with a mild cleanser, pat dry and using an
appropriate treatment for the acne.
Myth
Busted: Diet causes Acne
This is probably the most popular myth about Acne.
Extensive scientific studies have never found a
connection between a person's diet and acne. This
includes French fries, pizza, chocolate, candy and
many other greasy foods. This does not mean you should
eat all these on a regular basis, a healthy diet is
still recommended for general health.

Busted: Stress causes Acne
Ordinary day-to-day stress is not an important
factor of Acne. In some cases those that experience
severe stress and require medical attention may be
treated with drugs that can have adverse effects such
